제목 | A practical synthetic process for a analgesic drug |
초록 | Among non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), acetaminophen takes large market share in the pharmaceutical market based on the fact that it attains little side effects compared to others. The reported processes for the preparation of acetaminophen have general drawbacks-one of the steps is usually requires harsh reaction conditions for nitration and the additional purification steps are required for separated the desired para-isomer. In this presentation, an efficient process for acetaminophen is suggested for more eco-friend and economical synthetic environment. The suggested process involves two metal catalyzed reactions carried in microwave reactor. The desired acetaminophen has been successfully synthesized in shorter reaction time while any of the undesired regioisomers have been observed under the metal catalyzed reactions. |
