제목 Based on Molecular Composites with Phosphonic Acid for  High Temperature PEMFC
초록 It has been reported that the no PEMFC systems are available except PBI system as an alternative energy generating systems for automobile due to its harsh operating condition, mainly high temperature environment. In order to solve this problem successfully, it is required that the development of a membrane which is very stable and safe without degradation of its electrochemical performance at 120 oC/<40% RH. Thus, it is considered that development of sulfonic acid membrane incorporated with the phosphonic acidic group functionalized inorganic nanoparticles (1~2 nm) is the most possible route. Therefore Nafion molecular composites showed highly improved proton conductivities at high temperature (0.045 S/cm at 120 oC/<40% RH) and anhydrous condition (0.025 S/cm at 120 oC/0% RH). Also we manufacture MEA using molecular composite membrane and commercial electrode. Its showed improved cell performance at high temperature condition (450 mA at 120 oC/<40% RH).
