Cyanothiophene Based Dyes with Aggregation-Induced Emission (AIE) |
초록 |
Aggregation-Induced Emission (AIE) refers to a phenomenon were a chromophore is non-emissive in good solvent but became highly luminescent when the molecules were aggregated in concentrated solution or cast into solid films. AIE have also been used in many optoelectronic devices and bio-imaging, because the AIE effect is exactly opposite to the high aggregation-caused quenching (ACQ) effect experienced by conventional luminophores in the solid state. [1]. We have been working on new AIE luminophores to improve quantum yield in solid-state. We used cyanothiophene as electron acceptor and anthracene as a donor. In the current presentation we summarize the synthesis, characterization and optical properties of new AIE molecules. |
