제목 Synthesis of Polystyrene via Living Radical Polymerization and Colored Micro-Spheres Preparation by Electrospray.
초록 Recently colored polymer micro-spheres have received much attention owing to applications for printing, display, and medical studies. In this work, we investigated a new process of preparing colored polymer micro-spheres. Polystyrene homo polymer of 15,000 g/mol of number average molecular weight(Mn) and polydispersity index(PDI) less than 1.2 was synthesized via nitroxide mediated polymerization(NMP) method. For Electrospray polymer solution was prepared using the synthesized polymer, dye and dimethyl formamide(DMF). The colored polymer micro-spheres with diameter of 1~15 m were successfully prepared by Electrospray. With increase of dye content, the color saturation of the colored polymer micro-spheres was improved.
