제목 Thermally Responsive Multilayered Nanoemulsion Films Fabricated by Layer-by-Layer Deposition
초록 This work introduces a new approach for fabrication of novel multilayered nanoemulsion films consisting of charged nanoemulsion drops and polyelectrolytes by using the layer-by-layer deposition technology. For this we produce extremely stable nanoscale emulsions whose interface is made of a thin polymeric membrane by assembly of amphiphilic block copolymers. Subsequently, the thickness of the nanoemulsion film fabricated in this study is tunable in submicron scales by solely changing the number of alternate emulsions and polyelectrolyte layers. It is interesting to observe that the nanoemulsion film has the thermally responsive heterogeneous phase separation, which can be understood by the spinodal decomposition. This intriguing behavior enables the controlled release of active compounds loaded nanoemulsion drops.
