제목 FTO- and Pt-free counter electrodes based on PEDOT nanofibers for dye-sensitized solar cells
초록 We report on Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) nanofibers coated on various substrates as a counter electrode (CE) for dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) applications. PEDOT nanofibers with uniform size (20~50 nm) were fabricated easily within micelle templates by chemical oxidative polymerization. The resulting PEDOT nanofibers exhibited an enhanced electrical conductivity relative to a similar PEDOT synthesized in the bulk, a feature which may be attributed to the 1D characteristic of the structures. PEDOT nanofibers layered various substrates as the CE for DSSCs was fabricated by various coating method a PEDOT-dispersed colloidal solution. The power conversion efficiency of the DSSCs reached a maximum of ~4.99%. The performance of the PEDOT nanofibers-based DSSCs was characterized by cyclic voltammetry and current density-voltage measurements.
