Development of 40m Small Angle Neutron Scattering Instrument at HANARO for Nanoscale Materials Research |
초록 |
Small angle neutron scattering (SANS) has been a very powerful tool to study nanoscale (1-100 nm) bulk structures in broad spectrum of materials including polymer, self assembled materials, nano-porous materials, nano-magnetic materials, metal and ceramics. Recently, the development of the state of the art 40m SANS instrument at HANARO which is a part of the HANARO cold neutron research facility project was fininshed and has been commissioned. In this presentation, the design and characteristics of the 40 m SANS instrument, and their modes of operation are described, and data are presented which show their performance. |
