Phase Behaviors of Pluronic Block Copolymers under Various Interactions: A SANS Study |
초록 |
Pluronic triblock copolymers (PEOn-PPOm-PEOn) self-assemble into various micellar structures and reveal excellent phase behaviors in aqueous solution. The self-assembled structure of block copolymers easily transforms into other structure by various interactions such as hydrophobic or electrostatic interactions. Furthermore, the Pluronic block copolymer is highly biocompatible. Therefore, the Pluronic block copolymers have been of great interests in a broad spectrum of potential applications such as templates for nanostructures, nanosized building blocks or drug delivery in nano- or bio-science. However, the self-assembly of Pluronic block copolymer under various external conditions has not been fully exploited yet. Here the phase behavior of Pluronic block copolymer under a controlled external condition has been investigated using small angle scattering techniques. |
