We investigated the effects of acrylate monomer functionality and the concentration of photoinitiator on UV-curing behavior by photo-DSC. To investigate the effects of acrylate monomer functionality, two acrylate monomers, 1,6-hexanediol diacrylate (HDDA) and trimethylol propane triacrylate (TMPTA), were used for different blending ratios. 2-hydroxy-2-methyl-1-phenyl-propane-1-one was used as a photoinitiator for various concentrations. As the contents of HDDA were increased in blends, the maximum UV-curing rate was decreased but the conversion of photopolymerization was increased. In contrast, as the contents of HDDA were increased, the maximum UV-curing rate was increased but the conversion of photopolymerization was decreased. And the more concentration of photoinitiator, the faster UV-curing rate and the less conversion of photopolymerization. |
