제목 The Nanogap Control of Gold-Silver Alloys on Silica Nanoparticles for Highly Sensitive SERS-based Probes
초록 Highly sensitive surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) probes were developed based on the growth of Ag onto Au nanoparticles (NPs) on the surface of silica NPs (SiO2@Au@Ag). We used ascorbic acid as a reducing agent for Ag ions and polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) as a structure-directing agent. By adjusting the concentration of AgNO3, the nanogaps between two Ag NPs on the surface of the SiO2@Au@Ag were tuned. Originating from a highly enhanced E-field at the nanogaps (<1 nm) between two Ag NPs of the SiO2@Au@Ag NPs, strong Raman signals were obtained. The proposed NPs exhibited low limit of detection (LOD) of 2.4 nM for 4-amino-benzophenol and showed a high reproducibility in deviation of 14.2 %.
