Improvement of electroluminescence efficiency by self assembled monolayer process in quantum dot light emitting device. |
초록 |
With demand for increasing power efficiency, Light Emitting Device(LED) research has received attention and especially quantum dot light emitting device(QD-LED) is considered as a good solution. We use the self assembled monolayer(SAM) process to form the QD layers, which improve the interfacial uniformity between QD and oxide semiconducting layers. This is because QD can be arranged on irregular surfaces without complicated processes through simple chemical reaction. By SAM process we form the uniform QD layers on the oxide charge transport layer(CTL). We use the CdSe/CdS/ZnS double shell QD with surface modification by Trioctylphosphine oxide(TOPO). We observed electrical properties and electroluminescence properties by Hall measurement, current density, luminance and electron luminescence spectroscopy. |
