Zinc-based Catalysts for the Synthesis of Glycerol Carbonate |
| 초록 |
Glycerol carbonate is a quite important compound in glycerol utilization being a by-product of bio-diesel manufacturing process. Zinc-containing catalysts showed remarkable catalytic effect in the glycerol carbonate synthesis. The highest yield and selectivity was achieved with zinc sulfate catalyst at 170 ℃ and 20 mmHg. |
