제목 Over-expressed Carbohydrate Detection of Various Cancer Cells using Specific Binding Lectin on Patterned Living Cell
초록 This study presented that expression of carbohydrate on cell membrane was demonstrate a difference between cancer and normal cells. This basic principle is the over-expression of carbohydrate in the cancer cells such as sialic acid. Thus, we are provide that quantitative and qualitative analysis data for cancer and normal cells using specific binding lectins. Streptavidin-QDs was used as fluorescence probe for biotin-lectins, which leading a specific binding between streptavidin and biotin. The lectin assay was conducted with patterned cell on substrate. Cell adhesive surface was firstly prepared a TCPS dish. And then, the desired patterns of PDMS for the prevention of nonspecific binding of cells were transferred onto the TCPS. Based on this method, the patterned cell can be successfully performed with various lectin assay for cancer and normal cells. Therefore, we expect that this study will be useful analysis tools for the development of cancer detection, and drug delivery system.
