In this work, we have investigated the synthesis and characterization of functionalized mesoporous silica nanoparticles with a functionalized biopolymer. The structure and surface properties of the mesoporous silica nanoparticles(MSNs) and functionalized biopolymer were studied by means of X-ray diffraction(XRD), N2 adsorption/desorption (BET), TGA, UV–vis, Z-potential, FT-IR and H’NMR spectroscopic techniques. The functionalized biopolymer was used as a gate keeper for MSN through covalent bond using groups in alkyl chain. It indicated that the amount of drug released from MSNs is totally different depending on with DTT(Dithiothreitol). By considering the property of the functionalized biopolymer, we believe that it would to be promising drug delivery vehicles for targeting cancer cell. |
