Ligand-mediated Nanoparticles for Tumor-targeted Drug Delivery System |
초록 |
Drug targeting to a specific organ or tissue selectively and quantitatively would not only improve therapeutic efficiency but also enable a reduction of the amount of drug that must be administered to achieve a therapeutic response, thus minimizing negative side effects. We focused on the development of a ligand-mediated polymeric nanoparticle system for anticancer drug delivery with both a passive targeting property through a size effect, and an active targeting activity through specific recognition of ligand. The main objective of this study is to investigate the feasibility of biotin-conjugated nanoparticle as a ligand-mediated drug carrier for anticancer drugs. |
