Noble Synthesisof Water Dispersive Polythiophene Nanoparticles in Direct Synthetic Route Soup Free Fe3+-catalyzed oxidative Polymerization |

Poly(Thiophene-co-Thiophene acetate salt) (PTTA) nanoparticles were prepared by Fe3+-catalyzed oxidative polymerization in aqueous medium. Dispersion stability of PTTA nanoparticles was induced by thiophene acetate salt (TA-salt) as a co-monomer. The proposed growth mechanism of water soluble PTTA nanoparticles was confirmed by photoluminescence spectroscopy analysis at initial reaction time samples. The size and morphology of PTTA nanoparticles were function of reaction time confirmed by SEM, TEM and photoluminescence spectroscopy analysis. The final PTTA nanoparticles were analysis with thiophene monomer and TA-salt by FT-IR. The electrical properties of PTTA nanoparticles in bar coating form were measured by a four-point probe conductivity meter. The particles showed a high conductivity in the dry state. The optical properties of PTTA nanoparticles, spincoated on the e-beam lithography substrate, were measured using a fluorescent microscope. |
