To improve the electromagnetic interference shielding efficiency (EMI-SE), multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) were oxyfluorinated and plated by nickel. After that, these samples were manufactured into thin film on a polyimide film to investigate their EMI-SE. According to pressure ratio of oxyfluorination, the amount of plated Ni and surface morphology were changed. The EMI shielding efficiency of the Ni plated CNT with oxygen: fluorine ratio in 1:9 exhibited a maximum increase. These results are attributed that oxyfluorination could be controlled the amount of plated Ni and these Ni plated CNT have a great potential for use EMI shielding material. |
