A Study on the Effect of the Beam Currents on Electron Beam Irradiated PE Separators |

In this paper, several commercial PE separators were crosslinked by an electron beam (EB) under various beam currents to study the effect of electron beam current. The degrees of crosslinking, and the thermal and mechanical properties of the EB-irradiated PE separators prepared under various electron beam current conditions, were investigated. These results showed that PE separators irradiated at low electron beam current has better thermal and mechanical properties than that irradiated at high electron beam current. |
