제목 Enhanced Electron Life Time and Diffusion Length in Dye-sensitized Solar Cells composed of Multi-Functional Organic Dyes  
초록 Recently, organic dye molecules have been employed as promising alternatives to the Ru-based sensitizers in the dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) because of potential advantages (high molar extinction coefficient, convenient and customized molecular design) for photophysical and photochemical properties, as well as low-cost production. The organic sensitizer with multi-functional groups in a chromophore is found to be a versatile methodology for enhancing the electron life time and photon-to-current efficiency in DSSCs. The multi-functional organic dyes were synthesized to investigate photovoltaic properties as the photosensitizers for DSSCs. The enhanced long-term stability, electron diffusion length, and electron life time were observed in DSSC containing multi-functional organic dye system to compare with monomeric system due to the strong adsorption property and blocking effect to electrolyte on the TiO2 electrode surface.
