제목 Synthesis and surface properties of 1, 3-alkyl glycerol type anionic surfactats
초록 Alkyl phenol derivatives such as alkyl benzene sulfonate and alkyl phenol ethoxylate have been reported as anthropogenic pollutants. For this reason, anionic surfactants composed of linear alkyl chains have been developed. Increasing the number of carbon atoms of hydrophobic alkyl chain enhances surface properties but the solubility in water is remarkably reduced. To solve these problems, double tailed anionic surfactants were synthesized by two-step reaction and were elucidated by H-NMR, C-NMR, and FT-IR. The surface properties were studied by measuring surface and interfacial tension, CMC and emulsion stability. The 1, 3-alkyl glycerol type anionic surfactats have excellent surface activity compared to commonly linear surfactants
