In this work, we have prepared microporous carbon (MiC) prepared from Poly(vinylidene fluoride), and further the NaOH activation of MiC (A-MiC) was conducted as a function of activation temperature for CO2 capture. The surface functional groups and specific elecments of A-MiC were confirmed by FT-IR and XPS, respectively. The crystalline and structural features were investigated by XRD and FT-Raman spectroscopy, respectively. The CO2 adsorption capacity was evaluated using a pressure swing analysis at 298K and 1 bar. From the results, it was found that the CO2 adsorption capacity was increased with increasing the activation temperature, resulting from the well-developed micropores of A-MiC. |
