Microwave Absorption Behaviour of Nanocomposites with Dual Magneto-dielectric Property Nano-fillers |

Microwave absorption property of magnetic and dielectric nanocomposites has been extensively reported. Although most studies focused either dielectric or magnetic fillers in polymer matrices, the concept of magneto-dielectric nanocomposites has been scarcely reported due to the practical challenges it presents. Herein, we report the microwave absorption property of polymer nanocomposites containing fillers with both magnetic and dielectric properties. The effects of fabrication techniques and filler loadings on the microwave absorption property of these nanocomposites have been investigated and the possible mechanism underlying the technique and filler content dependent change in microwave absorption has been discussed in detail. Additionally, possible applications of such nanocomposites have been highlighted depending on the peak response frequencies. |
