Large-Scale Synthesis of Copper Nanoparticles by Chemical Control Reduction for Inkjet Printing Application |
초록 |
Copper nanoparticles have been given considerable attention because of their unusual properties and potential applications in many fields of industrial applications. One such example would be as the major constituent of conductive inks and pastes for various electronic components. In this study, Copper nanoparticles with ultrafine particle size were simply synthesized by chemical reduction of copper salts with sodium hypophosphite in ethylene glycol. Polymer surfactant was introduced to give dispersion stability to nanoparticles in colloid. The size of copper nanoparticles could be controllecd from 20-50nm by varying the relative concentration of the copper salts to surfactants, time and temperature. Transmission electron microscopic images of the particles showed a very fine particle size and X-ray analysis showed the formation of pure metallic copper. Also copper metal line on polyimide substrate from inkjet printing of metal nano ink prepared by polymer stabilized copper nanoparticles showed good electrical conductivity. |
