Fischer–Tropsch synthesis (FTS) reaction is a core technology for a syngas conversion to environmental friendly long-chain hydrocarbons. A hybrid catalysts of mesoporous FeZrOx in combination with Mo/HFER zeolite were studied for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis (FTS) reaction. Among the hybrid catalysts, Mo(6)/FER with FeZrOx showed a higher CO conversion (59.7%) to liquid hydrocarbons (78.4% C5–C20, 3.7% C20+ and 5.7% aromatics). The enhanced catalytic activity of the Mo(6)/FER with FeZrOx was mainly attributed to the moderate Bronsted acidic sites and its optimum hydrophilicity. The characterization results from XRD, N2 sorption, H2-TPR, NH3-TPD, Py-FTIR, H2O-FTIR and H2-TPSR revealed the roles of Mo loading on FER in the hybrid Mo/HFER mixed with mesoporous FeZrOx. |
