제목 Comparative investigation of transparent GZO/Ag/GZO and AZO/Ag/AZO electrodes grown by dual target DC sputtering for heterojunction organic solar cells
초록 We investigated the characteristics of transparent Ga-doped ZnO(GZO)/Ag/GZO and Al-doped ZnO(AZO)/Ag/AZO multilayer electrodes grown by continuous dual target DC sputtering system for heterojunction organic solar cells (HOSC). Both multilayer electrodes show a significant reduction of their sheet resistance and resistivity with increasing thickness of the Ag interlayer. However, the GZO/Ag/GZO electrode exhibits a much higher optical transparency in the visible range under optimized conditions due to the more effective surface plasmon resonance than AZO/Ag/AZO electrode. Moreover, the HOSC fabricated on the GZO/Ag/GZO electrode shows a higher power conversion efficiency (2.4%) than the AZO/Ag/AZO electrode (0.4%). This indicates that the GZO/Ag/GZO multilayer electrode is a promising transparent conducting electrode for the HOSCs or flexible HOSCs.
