제목 Photocatalytic degradation of VOCs through pure TiO2 attached on glass fibers by cross-linking method
초록 Researchers have been focusing on development of TiO2 applications in the environmental and energy fields including degradation of organic compounds and production of H2 as a fuel using solar energy. In this study, commercial TiO2(P25) powders were attached on glass fiber through chemical bonding by cross-linking method using two types of linkers. The surface morphology of the fabric samples was studied using field emission scanning electron microscopy. VOC degradation test was performed under UV light sources in a flow chamber system for evaluating the decomposition activities of samples and estimating of the efficiency of two different linkers. Photocatalytic activities of P25 attached on glass fibers with different linkers were compared with each other. Photocatalytic activities of the prepared samples were repeatedly measured in VOC degradation test for the evaluation of long-term stability of the attached powders.
