Guided bone regeneration (GBR) is designed method to promote bone regeneration using the shielding membrane that creates isolated space surround bone, inducing cell differentiation and migration. Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is considered as promising membrane because of chemical inactivity, high inviscosity, heat stability, and low coefficient. Nanofiber is useful candidate as a variety of membrane because of their characteristics such as light, good flexibility, and broad specific surface area of three-dimensional structure. In this study, the PTFE dispersion blended with polymer, and nano-fibrous PTFE membrane (NFPM) was fabricated by electrospinning and thermal treatment. The morphology and characteristic analysis of NFPM are carried out by SEM, ATR-FTIR, EDX, XRD, and TGA. In addition, cytocompatability of NFPM was examined by MTT assay and SEM observation, resulting that the thermal treatment temperature of NFPM affected the cell growth. |
