제목 | Direct preparation of organic-dispersible MXene by fully organic etching |
초록 | 2D MXene, transition metal carbides/nitrides with few atomic thickness shows excellent aqueous dispersion and high electrical conductivity, showing various promising applications including electrodes, electromagnetic interference shielding, supercapacitors, etc. However, most MXene has significant amounts of surface oxides or hydroxides due to the previous HF or LiF/HCl mediated etching is attempted in aqueous environments. In this study, fully organic etching of Ti3AlC2 MAX was attempted in fully organic and water-free environments, resulting in hydrophobic Ti3C2Tx MXene showing excellent dispersion in nonpolar organic solvents, which is promising for the direct application of this organic dispersible MXene in various research fields where the use of water is not welcomed.
