The sol–gel method has been a considerable evaluation in the ceramic field over the past few decades. However, because of high-temperature process for decomposing the ligand of the metal oxide precursor, there was a limitation that is not suitable for flexible application. For these reason, many researches has been continued to lower the process temperature. Herein, we studied the hybrid TiO2/ZrO2/SiO2 nanocomposites using a low temperature sol-gel process for hard coating film applications. The sol-gel composites with various molar ratios of metal oxide precursors and photo-curable agent were prepared for optimizing the mechanical and chemical properties. The structural properties of sol-gel composites were characterized FT-IR, XPS, and SEM. The optical transmittances of our sol-gel films were found at more than 95% and the hardness were measured 0.48-1.18 GPa and over 9H of pencil hardness. |
