Liquid metals (LMs) and alloys have recently gained great attention because of their integrated advantages of high conductivity and fluidity. Utilization of LMs in the form of colloidal suspensions is being actively researched for various emerging applications, yet facile control of the rheological properties of these suspensions is challenging due to the unique biphasic nature of the dispersed LM phase. Herein, we propose a general strategy of controlling the rheological properties of colloidal LM suspensions, with specific focus on improving their viscoelasticity. |
