Lifetime improvement in Organic Light-Emitting Diode UsingPoly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) / Poly(Ionic Liquid) Complex as Hole-Injecting Material. |
초록 |
It is demonstrated that a significant improvement in organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) device lifetime can be achieved by employing poly(ionic liquid)- modified poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) derived from poly(ionic liquid) (PEDOT:PIL) as hole injecting material. In contrast to the conventional HIL material based on poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonic acid) (PEDOT:PSS), our PEDOT:PIL complex was designed and synthesized to possess hydophobicity and non-acidic properties. Approximately 7-fold increase in device lifetime has been realized with OLED incorporating PEDOT:PIL, and this improvement can be ascribed to the better interfacial stability between PEDOT-PIL and ITO electrodes. Details of the results are presented in terms of the presented of PEDOT:PIL distinguished features. |
