제목 | Hydrogenation of Undesired Biomass-derived Chemical to Valuable Solvent by Green Chemistry |
초록 | Levulinic acid (LA) is an undesired biomass-derived chemical, which can be a precursor for the synthesis of γ-valerolactone (GVL). GVL is a key intermediate used as bio-derived valuable chemical produced by hydrogenation of LA. Carbon-supported metal is widely used in industry as catalysts. Herein, LA was hydrogenated to GVL by a flow reactor, generating hydrogen source in situ by the electrolysis of water. |
