제목 | Enhanced surface interaction of CeO2 by Zr doping for fast Li+ ion-conducting composite solid electrolyte |
초록 | Solid composite electrolyte (SCE) composed of polymer electrolyte and ceramic fillers has attracted much interest as an appropriate electrolyte for all-solid-state batteries owing to good interfacial contact, flexibility, and enhanced ionic conductivity than solid polymer electrolyte. However, although the ionic conductivity of SCE is higher than solid polymer electrolytes, it is still insufficient. In this work, we designed Zr-doped Ce1-xZrxO2 as filler for the solid composite electrolytes. Oxygen vacancy at the filler surface act as lewis acid and interact with Li-salt in polymer electrolyte. This interaction promotes salt dissociation and leads to enhanced ionic conductivity. Zr doping in CeO2 further increased the oxygen vacancy concentration and led to higher interaction between filler surface and Li-salt. This enhanced surface interaction made salt dissociation easier in polymer electrolyte and improved the ionic conductivity of SCE. |
