제목 Metal-Organic Frameworks Membranes and their surface modification for tunable separation behavior
초록 Membrane separation has various advantages such as energy efficient, reduced space requirement, easy maintenance through modularization. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) were reported to have various interesting physical, chemical properties, thermal stability, as well as excellent separation properties suitable for gas separation. In this talk, various membrane fabrication techniques such as Interfacial Microfluidic Membrane Processing technique, Ligand Induced Permselectivation will be discussed overcoming many limitations of current processes and made a notable step toward realizing scalable molecular sieving MOF membranes. Moreover, continuous pore size tuning nature of mixed linker approach will be discussed for broader application and improved separation performance. Finally, vapor phase ligand exchange techniques will be demonstrated to widen the application area of developed membrane.
