Characterization of Carbon Incorporated Li2MnSiO4 Cathodes in Lithium Rechargeable Batteries |
초록 |
Lithium ion batteries are key components for providing electricity in portable electronics. The advantage of Li2MnSiO4 is very high theoretical capacity(~330mAh/g) compared to LiCoO2(practically 140mAh/g) because Li2MnSiO4 has two Li per equivalent weight. Until now, no proper optimization of Li2MnSiO4 in synthesis has been reported and low electrical conductivity leads to the poor electrochemical performance. Carbon coating or incorporation can enhance the electrical conductivity of this material and particle size reduction can lower the length of lithium passage. Carbon incorporated Li2MnSiO4 was synthesized and its electrochemical characterization was carried out according to the charge-discharge test. |
