LMC(low molecular weight chitosan: MW=4445) was prepared by NaNO2 hydrolysis. LMC prepared from NaNO2 hydrolysis was fractionated by methanol precipitation method. The cytocompatibility of LMC was investigated by using the human fibroblast cell line. In the results, the toxicity of LMC at 100mg/ml was increased but at 10ng/ml toxicity of LMC was greatly decreased. As molecular weight of LMC was increased, toxicity of LMC was increased. The chitosan the oligomer 1g methanesulfuric acid 20ml it dissolved. Added the palmitoylchloride 3ml and during room temperature 12 hours it reacted. Product analysis of the NMR, IR and the EA it led and it chracterized. In the result Palmitoyl-chitosan oligomers were successfully synthesized by nucleophilic acyl substitution reaction. It becomes feed with the fact that it will be applied in cosmetics and drug delivery system. |
