Characterization of the TMC(trimethylene carbonate) Non-woven Using the Electrospinning Technique |
초록 |
Monofilament absorbable suture, MAXON, was made from a block copolymer of glycolide and trimethylene carbonate(TMC). TMC is amorphous polymer. It has been used alone or in combination to produce the biomedical device and pharmaceutical fields due to its degradability, low toxicity, softness, and flexibility. In this work, we have made TMC non-woven with nanoscale fiber diameters by using electrospinning method. The electrospun TMC fibers have been analyzed scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and image analyzer.
