Effect of Triacetin on the Mechanical and Thermal Properties of Cellulose Acetate/Poly(ethylene glycol) Blend Films. |
초록 |
Cellulose acetate(CA) is a well-known polymer which is transformed to fiber, film, or plastics applicable to various industrial fields. In recent years, CA fibers prepared by melt-spinning using plasticizer has caught great attention from a point of high speed and low cost in production. However, low tensile properties of melt-spun CA fiber made its industrialization difficult, which arose from excessive content of plasticizer and low degree of orientation. In this study, blend films of CA and polyethylene glycol and triacetin in different compositions were prepared by solution casting method to enhance their tensile properties. These blend films were drawn above Tg measured. Also, the morphology and properties of these blend films were investigated by instron, differential scanning calorimetry, rheometer, and X-ray diffraction. |
