Organic solar cells (OSCs) have been studied as prospective energy converting devices with many advantages like their low cost and various material application. However, OSCs have some disadvantages such as limited absorption properties, low carrier mobility and energy level mismatch between electrode and active layer. The PEDOT:PSS, hole transporting layer, can be used to improve these disadvantages. But, the hygroscopic and acidic nature of PEDOT:PSS cause corrosion and degradation of devices. To introduce some additives in PEDOT:PSS, these disadvantages of PEDOT:PSS can be improved by means of separating PEDOT and PSS. In this study, we fabricated conventional structured OSCs with metal oxide doped PEDOT:PSS via solution process. As a result, the stability and performance of OSCs with metal oxide modified PEDOT:PSS were enhanced. |
