In this study, core / shell type PMMA-core / Ni-shell hybrid magnetic nanoparticles were prepared by dispersion polymerization and seed polymerization and electroless metal plating. In order to finder the thickness of Ni shell, we synthesized the variety particle size in dispersion polymerization and seed polymerization system before electroless metal plating. PMMA / Ni hybrid nanoparticles were analyzed via SEM (scanning electron microscope), TEM (transmission electron microscopy), EDS (energy dispersive spectroscopy), TGA (thermogravimetric analysis). |
