In this study, the effect of the alkyl metal type additive on the anionic polymerization of polyisoprene was evaluated. In particular, the distillation process of monomers required for anionic polymerization was omitted and impurities were removed only by reaction with additives. The alkyl metal type additive was triisobutylaluminum and was added in various proportions compared to the initiator. As a result of the experiment, the yield of polyisoprene was more than 90%, and it was confirmed that the molecular weight could be controlled and a narrow molecular weight distribution was obtained. In addition, there was no change in the microstructure of polyisoprene due to the presence of additives. |
