제목 Squaraine-Sensitized Composite of Reduced Graphene Oxide/TiO2 Photocatalyst: π-π Stacking as a New Method of Dye Anchoring
초록 We synthesized a near Infra-red (NIR) absorbing squaraine dye (VJ-S) capable of π-stacking with reduced nano-sized graphene oxide (r-NGOT). From FT-IR, UV-Visible, XPS, HR-TEM and EELS mapping analysis, VJ-S/r-NGOT showed self-assembled core/shell structure of reduced graphene and TiO2 through π-π interaction between graphene and VJ-S dye. For photocatalytic activity test, Pt was deposited on r-NGOT in the presence of VJ-S in EDTA solution. The photo-generated electrons in VJ-S dye were transferred to platinum on graphene and hydrogen is evolved.
