제목 NanoHole Structure in Polystyrene-block-poly(methyl methacrylate) Thin Film by Using Transmission Electron Microtomography
초록 Cylindrical nanoporous structures were prepared by using the mixture film of polystyrene-block-poly(methyl methacrylate) copolymer (PS-PMMA) and PMMA homopolymer, and investigated by Transmission Electron Microtomography and Grazing Incidence Small Angle X-ray Scattering. The PMMA cylindrical microdomains are oriented normal to the substrate. Then, all the PMMA phase (PMMA block and PMMA homopolymer) in the film was removed by UV irradiation followed by rinsing with a selective solvent. Also, only PMMA homopolymer was removed by the selective solvent. We found that when the film is irradiated by UV, the nanoporous structure in the film exhibits almost perfect cylindrical shape throughout the entire the film thickness. On the other hand, when the film is only rinsed by the selective solvent without UV treatment, nanoporous structures do not exhibit straight cylinders, but exhibit funnel-shape where the diameter near the top of the film is larger than that near the bottom of the film.
