The SOFC is generally composed of three components, electrolyte(YSZ), anode(Ni/YSZ) and cathode(LSM/YSZ) and is conventionally operated at high temperatures.Anode-supported electrolyte with thin film electrolyte was fabricated by a tape casting methode and co-sintering. In order to improve the performance of unit cell, we studied the effect of unit cell design factors of anode, electrolyte and cathode on SOFC unit cell performance. Electrochemical evaluations of the unit cells such as power density and impedance were analyzed. Also Ni-YSZ anode was fabricated by the spark plasma sintering(SPS) process and its microstructure and electrical properties were investigated. |
