제목 Nanocomposite Membranes Containing Activated Silver Nanoparticles by Poly(vinyl pyrrolidone) Dispersed in Poly(2-ethyl oxazoline) for Separation of Olefin/Paraffin Mixtures
초록 Olefin/paraffin separation of silver-based membranes has been attracted due to the high separation performance resulting from facilitated olefin transport. In this study, silver nanoparticles (Ag0, ~6 nm) were partially positively charged, stabilized by poly(vinyl pyrrolidone) (PVP) and dispersed in poly(2-ethyl oxazoline), working as an olefin carrier for facilitated transport membranes. The separation performance for the propylene/propane (50/50 v/v) mixture through the POZ/Ag0 nanocomposite membranes was measured and analyzed. The results demonstrated a high propylene selectivity of 21 for propylene/propane mixtures and the separation performance was nearly unchanged for 14 days.
