The Poling Effect on the piezoelectric characteristics of Flexible Lead-free Piezoelectric Nanofiber composites |

Flexible lead-free piezoelectric nanofiber composites of BNT-ST (0.78Bi0.5Na0.5TiO3-0.22SrTiO3) ceramic and polyvinylidenefluoride (PVDF) polymer were synthesized by an electrospinning method. The poled and unpoled BNT-ST/PVDF nanofiber composites were characterized by XRD and the precision LCR meter to investigate the crystal structure and the dielectric constant. The piezoelectric characteristics were analyzed by the polarization-electric field (P-E) loops, and the possibility of frequency sensor application was confirmed by measuring the output voltage as a function of the frequency of the poled and unpoled BNT-ST/PVDF nanofiber composites. A saturated Vpp value of the poled BNT-ST/PVDF nanofiber composites were improved about 10 % compared to the value of the unpoled BNT-ST/PVDF nanofiber composites. |
