제목 | Fabrication and characterization of oxidized PAN-based carbon fabric filters |
초록 | Polyacrylonitrile (PAN) nanofibers were prepared by electrospinning, and then stabilized by a heat treatment. Through these processes, oxidized PAN-based (oxi-PAN) carbon fabrics were obtained. The stabilization, carbonization and activation processes were monitored in terms of the changes in the chemical composition, density and activation yield. The other structural characteristics and thermal stability of the carbon fabric filters were analyzed through scanning electron microscopy (SEM), universal material tensile testing, and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and the filtration performance of the filters was tested using a filter tester. |
