Evaluation of Functional Polyethersulfone-Silica Added Epoxy Resin for Marine Applications |
| 초록 |
Among matrices of marine composites, epoxy is mainly used because it has relatively excellent properties such as good adhesive, high mechanical properties, and resistance to micro cracking and water. However, in the marine conditions, better seawater resistance, impact resistance, and flammability are required. In this study, we used diglyicidyl ether of bisphenol-A(DGEBA) epoxy resin as matrix and isophorone as a hardener. In order to analyze the effects of the functional additives, Polyethersulfone(PES) and synthesized PES-silica were added to evaluate thermal and mechanical properties. |
