제목 The attachment and proliferation of Retinal pigment epithelial cells on SIS/PLGA film
초록 Porcine small intestinal submucosa(SIS) derived from the submucosal layer of porcine intestine, both generate a minimal inflammatory response following implantation and have been approved by the FDA for many types of biomedical applications. Retinal pigment epithelial cells(RPEs) form a monolayer on the outer portion of sensory retina and have important physiologic function that include solute transport, phagocytosis and digestion of membranes shed from photoreceptor outer segment and drug detoxication. In this study, we fabricated natural/synthetic biomaterial hybrid films using 0, 20wt% of SIS and 10ng/mL of bFGF. We confirmed that specific 20wt% SIS in SIS/PLGA films was superior to adhesion and proliferation of RPE. This research suppose by WCU(R31-20029).
