제목 Nanochannel Reaction Technology for Gas-to-Liquids
초록 Due to the concerns about the depletion of petroleum and the newly discovered nontraditional natural gas resources such as shale gas, the GTL technology is broadly gaining attraction as an alternative method to produce replaceable synthetic liquid fuels and chemicals. For this technology, we have developed two kinds of core catalysts for syngas generation and conversion, i.e., reforming and Fischer-Tropsch synthesis. Ordered mesoporous materials (OMMs) were utilized as support of Ni nanocrystals for partial oxidation of methane. In addition, a hexagonally ordered mesoporous carbon was utilized as a support for a Fischer-Tropsch catalyst. Each array of elongated pore structure of OMM with metal nanoparticles can be regarded a nanochannel reactor. Due to the pore confinement, this catalyst demonstrated the excellent catalytic performance. For the OMC supported catalysts, the hydrophobic nature of the support could facilitate the FT synthesis by suppressing the adsorption of water molecules.
